Mtn Mystery Image 2006

This is the first ever Mtn. Mystery & Legends event stamp.
It depicts the old Jackson County Courthose in Sylva, NC.
Sylva was the host town for the event.
The 2006 event was the first for letterboxers in the far western mountains of NC

What a blast. The event has come and gone...and in true Dixie fashion...i got so caught up in planting new boxes and then just talking that I didn't finish or would forget certain things that i had planned :( but...all in all...i think everyone had a good time. The haunted Inn didn't work out because it was the "busy leaf season" and their were just too many guests to allow a bunch of crazy letterboxers have run of the place while looking for letterboxes and ghosts. I made some friends and lots of wonderful memories. The sunset at "the knob" Saturday night was great and the night hunt didn't go just as planned planned but maybe i have learned a lesson *yikes*

It came and went way too fast.
There were waaaaay too many happenings to write about and be able to give them all the mention and time they deserve. How wonderful it was to have these folks come out to my mountains for fun and laughter. THANKS to all.

Will there be another Mountain Mystery event in 2007?
I certainly would like to see it but I think it would need to not be the same time of the year.

I hope you are all ready for some boxing.
Whether you want to keep it subtle or if you want to hunt haunted locations...
I think this event will be fun for the entire family.
